Real Quick: Week 10 Football Predictions (Offtopic)

OK. I have to do some research to see what my year’s record is after going 20-3 last week.

Andrew Jackson (1-7, 0-3) at Baldwin (1-7, 0-3). Winner gets some district success at long last this season. Tossup. I will go edge Baldwin, though it pains me to go against the wrestling program.
Buchholz (3-5, 1-2) at Atlantic Coast (5-3, 1-2). No playoff implications for this one, winner is playing for third place in 7A-3.
Decisive win for AC at home.
Potter’s House Christian (3-5) at Bishop Snyder (3-4). Cardinals battling to get to .500. Edge Bishop Snyder.
Creekside (3-6) at Fleming Island (3-5). Nonconference matchup, Knights looking to keep momentum going into playoffs but have struggled in nonconf matchups. Tossup, with the edge going to Fleming Island.
St. Joseph (5-3, 1-1) at FSDB (5-3, 2-0). A Dragons win wins them the division title in the NFFC-South Division. Edge FSDB.
Palm Coast (6-2, 2-1) at Mandarin (6-2, 2-1). Winner advances to post-season, loser’s season is done in a week. Huge implications. Will I pick against Mandarin again? Yes. Yes, I will. Edge Palm Coast, but I won’t be surprised if I’m wrong.
Englewood (3-5, 2-3) at Orange Park (2-6, 2-3). Rams with some upsets, OP with a late charge after 0-6 start. I’m going to go edge OP at home. They’ve got some momentum working.
Sandalwood (4-4, 1-2) at First Coast (8-0, 3-0). FC already has 8A-1 district title in hand, Saints playing for pride. Can’t see pride being enough. FC decisive, but it could be closer.
Terry Parker (0-8, 0-5) at Ed White (7-1, 5-0). White has already clinched 6A-3 district title. Commanders win big and get the reserves some work.
Trinity Christian (6-2, 1-0) at Providence (7-1, 1-0). Both have clinched playoff spots, winner gets the district title and first-
rounder at home. Again, I hate to pick against the team with wrestling, but Conquerors are tough. Edge Trinity. You guys REALLY need wrestling.
Ribault (6-2, 5-1) at Wolfson (1-7, 1-5). Trojans can’t let up, with 3 -way tie for top in 5A-3. Ribault big, to force pressure on Westside and Bishop Kenny.

I covered wrestling for 15 years up north and "retired" in both 1992 and again in 2011. But I couldn't stay away. Started Northeast Florida Matmen in 2013, Northwest Florida Matmen in 2015. We combined those sites into North Florida Matmen in the summer of 2018. And, we've started South Georgia Matmen in November of 2018. Our work is never paywalled, our content is searchable for all time. We're here because the kids keep lacing 'em up, so we'll keep writing 'em up.
