Real Super Quick: Week 10 Friday Football Predictions (Offtopic)

Between home drama and Halloween drama and my man at FloridaHSFootball.com not having a Week 10 scoreboard up yet, I don’t know what happened with Thursday night’s games. So we’ll do Aftermath hopefully this weekend…I don’t know how I’m going to get done all I need to do and want to do…

Bishop Kenny (6-1, 5-1) at Baker County (4-5, 3-3). Must-win game on the road for Crusaders. Baker looking for top-half 5A-3 finish. I will go Kenny decisive.
Interlachen (1-8, 1-2) at The Villages (6-2, 2-1). Villages can clinch playoff berth with a win, Interlachen picked up its first win last week. Don’t see a second this week. Villages big.
Keystone Heights (0-7, 0-3) at Bradford (1-7, 1-2). Tornadoes look for second district win. This time, I do see a second this week. Bradford decisive.
Madison County (5-3, 2-0) at Fernandina Beach (1-7, 0-2). Madison County has clinched 4A-2, Fernandina is looking for its first district win. And they’ll keep looking, I think. Madison County decisive.
Middleburg (3-5, 2-3) at Columbia (6-2, 4-1). Columbia already has playoff in hand, seeking to keep momentum going. Columbia decisive.
Bartram Trail (5-3, 1-2) at Nease (4-4, 1-2). Bragging rights only on line. Could be a close game, but I’ll go edge Bartram.
Ponte Vedra (3-5, 1-2) at Palatka (3-4, 1-2). Winner keeps mathematical post-season hopes alive in 5A-4. Weird game, though. Tossup. Edge Palatka.
Pedro Menendez (4-4, 1-2) at Ridgeview (5-3, 1-2). Ditto to all of it. Edge Ridgeview.
St. Augustine (7-1, 3-0) at Matanzas (2-5, 0-3). St. Augustine has district title clinched, Matanzas just wants some district success. Still, though, I will go St. Aug decisive.
UC (5-3, 4-0) at Cedar Creek Christian (4-4, 2-2). Christians can stay perfect in district play, already clinched title. UC decisive, could be big.
Bolles (6-2, 2-1) at West Nassau (5-3, 2-1). Winner qualifies for playoffs out of 4A-3, loser has one more week to complete season. Bolles decisive, but WN could make a game of it.
Paxon (4-4, 3-3) at Westside (5-4, 5-1). Westside needs this win to stay in playoff hunt, Paxon can play spoiler. But I don’t think it will. Edge Westside.
Yulee (4-4, 2-4) at Stanton (0-8, 0-6). Unusual sixth spot in 5A-3 for Hornets, familiar territory for Blue Devils. Yulee big.
Fletcher (5-3, 2-1) at Oakleaf (8-0, 3-0) — GOTW. Both teams have clinched playoff berths. Winner wins the district title. Edge Oakleaf.

I covered wrestling for 15 years up north and "retired" in both 1992 and again in 2011. But I couldn't stay away. Started Northeast Florida Matmen in 2013, Northwest Florida Matmen in 2015. We combined those sites into North Florida Matmen in the summer of 2018. And, we've started South Georgia Matmen in November of 2018. Our work is never paywalled, our content is searchable for all time. We're here because the kids keep lacing 'em up, so we'll keep writing 'em up.
