COC Team Camp at Embry-Riddle

Circle of Champions, led by Steve Glassey and Steve Mocco, are holding a COC Elite Team Camp at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach on the dates of July 6-10.

The camp brings competition and technique, in every seassion, with up to 16 dual meets and a 32-man double-elimination tournament at the end of the duals. Average match count, per the directors, will be around 23 matches for each participating wrestler over the course of the week.

It’s not just the quality of the camp that makes it attractive. What also will be happening is that Embry-Riddle is looking to — perhaps — add wrestling as a varsity sport, and the success of the camp may be a factor — according to Glassey — in adding it.

The camp flyer is attached below. You can contact Glassey, the Circle of Champions Director, via email at campofchampions@msn.com or toll-free at 866-854-2560. The COC website address is http://www.cocelitewrestlingschool.com.

2016 Florida Team Camp

I covered wrestling for 15 years up north and "retired" in 2011. But as I thought I had in 1992, I couldn't stay away. Started Northeast Florida Matmen in 2013, Northwest Florida Matmen in 2015. New initiative this year is to create a space on my sites where ALL Florida results can be stored, searched, reviewed and used by my readers, with NO COST TO THEM.
