There is just Atlantic Coast and Bradford remaining. In nine days, first dual is scheduled.
Today, I received Suwannee’s schedule, which marks the Northeast side’s 44th schedule. In all, we have 67 out of 71 schedules in hand with one week to go.
The Bulldogs have a lot of new events on their calendar this year, and they kick off the first weekend of December with one, as they’ll go to the Gainesville Category 5 Duals on the Saturday of Week 1. That’s it for new events in 2016, but Suwannee will have four new ones (for it at least) in back-to-back fashion in January. Opening up that slate will be Yulee’s Battle of the Border on January 7, followed by the high-powered 1A Dual Championships hosted by Clay on the 13th and 14th, a long road trip to Naples for the Chase Life Invitational at Palmetto Ridge on the 20th and 21st, and a less-long road trip to Palm Coast for the Flagler Rotary on January 27th and 28th.
As for events to which the Bulldogs are returning, those will be kicked off by the Capital City Classic at Chiles on the second weekend of December. Suwannee will also compete in Columbia’s one-day Tiger Duals event on the 17th of next month. The Bulldogs’ final regular-season IBT will be the Clay Rotary on the first weekend of February.
Although the schedule I have suggests that home matches are still to be determined (so we may get more as the season begins, there is one midweek event on February 8 that will wrap up the regular season for the ‘Dogs, as they’ll compete in Florida High’s double dual, facing the host Seminoles as well as Lincoln, along with Columbia.
AC & Bradford…you are on the clock…who’s NEXT??
