Week In Review

I don’t know how many duals we have, between local and statewide, but there are certainly at least 100 local duals, with full match-by-match scores, on both Matmen platforms. Probably a few hundred (albeit in score only, if we only had the ability to get all teams to send us match by match) on the statewide side.

All statewide Week 1 duals, on both platforms, have been converted to PDFs. We have done this also with local Week 1 duals on the Northwest platform. We have a line out on one dual for Buchholz that we need to nail down before we do that on the Northeast platform.

We have nine IBT events in bracketed form available for review. On the Northeast site, there are 4 on the local page and 5 on statewide. On the Northwest site, we have 2 on local page and 7 on statewide.

A little over 10,000 page views this past week. Thank you for your faith in the Matmen concept. We will only get better at this. We should go over the 600,000+ mark perhaps as soon as today and certainly tomorrow for all-time. Not bad for a little volunteer blog that’s bigger on the inside. Your effort sees to that.

While I thump my chest a little bit, I would also invite you to go here and here. Brant Parsons is working tirelessly to bring what no other newspaper anywhere in Florida is bringing the wrestling community. He needs your support (in the form of page clicks) too.

I covered wrestling for 15 years up north and "retired" in 2011. But as I thought I had in 1992, I couldn't stay away. Started Northeast Florida Matmen in 2013, Northwest Florida Matmen in 2015. New initiative this year is to create a space on my sites where ALL Florida results can be stored, searched, reviewed and used by my readers, with NO COST TO THEM.
