Corey Grower (195) of Creekside is the Northeast Florida 2A-District 4 Pacesetter for the week of February 13-18.

Name: Robert “Corey” Grower.
School, grade & weight class: Creekside, senior, 195.
State ranking: 9th in Class 2A per The Wrestling Nation.
Accomplishments: Grower avenged a regular-season loss to Bartram Trail’s Brooks Harp in the 195 final of the 2A-District 4 meet last week at Matanzas, and was one of six Knights champions as Creekside won its first district title since 2014.
Favorite food: Fried shrimp.
Favorite restaurant: Osaka.
Favorite TV show: South Park.
Favorite movie: The Wolf on Wall Street.
Favorite subject in school: Government.
Favorite college/university: University of Florida.
Favorite wrestler: Bo Nickal/Rick Marabell.
Favorite athlete (non-wrestler): Dan Henderson or Cub Swanson.
Best tournament/dual experience: Winning the district championship with my team.
Favorite thing about wrestling: When the work you put in pays off and you achieve a goal you used to think was unachievable.
Least favorite thing about wrestling: Sitting in the gym for two hours before your name gets called.
When I’m not wrestling, I am most likely… : Watching MMA.
