Best tournament/dual experience: “State, because of the competition level and the atmosphere of the tournament.”
Favorite thing about wrestling: “That you have a team but you’re an individual on the mat. You have the choice: sink or swim, which will it be?”
Least favorite thing about wrestling: “Having to wait your turn to wrestle.”
When I’m not wrestling, I am most likely… : Either hunting, fishing or in the weight room.
Coach Richie Dusinberre on Barnard: “`Stump’ has been the most coachable athlete I have had the pleasure of coaching while at Middleburg. We only got one season with him, but he really worked hard to be successful, and the positive attitude and work ethic he brought to the room every day is the reaosn for his success in such a short amount of time. We wish we had more time with him, but we know he will be successful at whatever he decides to do in life. We will miss him.”
Parent: Keira Barnard, Middleburg.
The Pacesetter feature will return after the first week of wrestling has concluded in December. Thank you for your support!
